We usually try to go early in the "season" to get a picture with the Easter bunny, but this year we just didn't make it until the weekend OF! :( It was so crowded at one point, we turned around, left and came back the next morning RIGHT when the mall opened! This year, we decided in addition to having the boys' pictures taken, we could get a picture of all "3 grandsons" for my mom and dad! Given the fact that I had expected Ethan to be screaming, the shot came out pretty nice! :)
Greg got home from work RIGHT as we were leaving for church. He took a picture of me and the boys all dressed up before we headed out. Missed having him at church with us!

One of our family traditions is to go to Mommom and Poppop's house to dye Easter eggs. Each year seems to be a new adventure with the boys! This year, Ethan liked to "throw" the eggs into the mugs, which didn't turn out so well for the eggs. haha!!

Jed (my cousin) is SO good with my boys! He loves to rough house them, and do fun things that I can't do...like throw Ethan up on my shoulders. :)
Next up- our annual Easter Egg hunt at Nana's!! The boys love looking for candy filled eggs in her yard! This year Silas joined the fun too!! The fun has just begun!

This past Easter was a good one, but a bit incomplete in some regards. Not only were we missing Greg for most of the day, but we were also missing my Grandmom. It was the first holiday we had without her. Definitely an emotional day to say the least. She would have LOVED seeing her three great grandsons enjoying the beautiful weather looking for eggs. There we have it... I think I finished April before the end of September. I have GOT to pick up the pace here!
